Live Scribing

It requires significant concentration, an intuitive mind and a nimble pen. It is great to engage with detailed content and to embrace the challenge of drawing direct and in person.

In my unique and graphical style, I have worked alongside several people-based ventures to produce a visual documentation of inciteful and accessible illustrations. Recent clients for this work include The Royal Ballet; The University of Gloucestershire; Viv Gordon Company Ltd; BANES Social Services; and Create Gloucestershire.

Within my careful approach and distilled drawing style, I am able to listen well and respond to sensitive and complex content, responding creatively, intuitively and responsibility in quick fire succinct illustrations. According to the nature of the event, I will tailor my style of drawing to suit. I include hand printed text where necessary, to aid clarity and communication.

During an event I am open for attendees to observe and comment on the illustrations as they unfold. I create a usefully sized set of small images, which can be easily scanned and processed to produce a snapshot compilation of key issues, individual contributions, smaller personal asides, and future thinking communications. I believe this to be optimally useful for the image capture to be shared on social media and internal coms, to slot easily into written documents, and because they are separate drawings, to itemise specialised areas of content.
