As an artist, I am passionate about the emotive power of visual communication, and to this aim I have worked to create an identifiable and accessible illustrated resource for people lonely and struggling with their mental health.
I am keen to use my drawing skills to appeal to people who do not feel an easy or attractive interface with existing mental health iconography – “That’s not my language”, “That doesn’t speak to me” – and to prompt conversation, raise the profile of need, sign-post, reassure and connect: a hand holding.
I have direct experience working solo and collaboratively as an artist around grief, domestic violence, childhood sexual abuse and the diversity which is adult mental health.
Please do get in touch if you feel I could help visualise your campaign, editorial, social media presence or the general mission of your organisation.
